We cannot find a single snarky thing to say about the Botanical Garden. It's gorgeous, luscious, tremendously fun, niftily organized ito different geographical regions full of educational information, and hosts terrific special events. Truly a great place to spend the day, whether with the kiddos (keep their little hands off th cacti in the South Texas succulent garden, though!) or with a date (making out clandestinely in the Orangerie is awesome).
Curated by British sculptor Phillip King, this year-long exhibition features a dozen sculptures by members of the Texas Sculpture Group and the Mid-South Alliance.
