Inaugural International Academy of Design & Technology Student Art Show
Forever championing emerging artistic talent, Roland “Nightrocker” Fuentes and Alex Rubio’s R Gallery hosts the “Inaugural IADT San Antonio Art Show.” Founded in Chicago (as the International Academy of Merchandising and Design) in 1977, the International Academy of Design and Technology now teaches internet marketing, fashion design and merchandising, retail merchandise management, graphic design, and web design and development at nine campuses across the U.S., including the 30,000 square-foot facility established in San Antonio in 2005. Held concurrently with Second Saturday in the South Flores Arts District, the group show features new works by IADT students and faculty-members Juan Ramos, Scott Cooper, Wardell Picquet, Justin Schneider, Russell Stephenson, Michelle Love, Vicki Stephenson, Paul Vaughn, Adriana Garcia, Jenni Klein, Henry Keller, Randy Solis, Kenneth Cooper, Artis Owens, Robert Kemmerer, Nyk Smith, Danielle Carper, Arthur Pena, Jovan Hoffman, and Sergio Guzman.
