Terri Hendrix

Over the past two decades, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Terri Hendrix has established herself as an independent artist with an inspirational voice. Collaborating with Grammy-winning producer/guitarist Lloyd Maines since 1997, Hendrix has released more than a dozen albums on her own her Wilory Records label and won national praise for her eclectic take on Americana. Joy, hope, and laughter are among the “essential ingredients” that factor into her signature blend of blues, jazz, folk, country, and pop, but the San Marcos native also tackles darkness and hardship in tracks like “Einstein’s Brain” and “Hand Me Down Blues”. Hendrix plays the Carver as part of the nonprofit’s 2012-2013 series.
