Stolen Babies
Rising from the ashes of the 12-member troupe The Fratellis, Los Angeles-based Stolen Babies spin an array of influences including Oingo Boingo, Mr. Bungle, and silent-era German expressionist films into a chaotic frenzy that’s been pegged as “quirky-prog-pop-art-rock-avant-garde-cabaret-metal-horror-punk with a tinge of industrial, goth, and dark wave.” Comprised of lead singer/accordionist Domique Lenore Persi, bassist/guitarist/programmer Rani Sharone, keyboardist Ben Rico, and drummer Gil Sharone, the quartet is on tour in support of this year’s Naught, a focused follow-up to their 2006 full-length debut There Be Squabbles Ahead.
