tINI
Like many DJs today, Berlin-based mop-top tINI has evolved into a jet-setting producer and recording artist. Named after a supportive friend who led the Munich native “closer to the core of Ibiza,” tINI’s debut album Tessa steps away from the island’s high-energy hedonism and grooves in a less ravey corner — one marked by calmness, magic, and unexpected friendships. Written almost entirely in Ibiza, Tessa puts a personal spin on deep house and dub with layers of looped and processed sound bites, giving tracks like “Mine Has a Shower,” “Fail Better,” and “Maria, Luise & Bert” sparse ambient mystery. According to tINI, Tessa is her “definition of house music” and “a musical diary.” Presented by ToKen Sessions and Unscene Records, the night kicks off with sets by Enrique Cortazar and Christian Thomas, and (in keeping with the tattoo on tINI’s finger) comes with “free mustaches.”
