    Meet the locals at RCC's "after hours" stand-up show.

  • Hosting a display of the "fastest rising" local talent, Alex "KOOLAID" Ansel will be your guide through the antics of comedians Michael Suarez and Blair Thompson. Texas native and winner of San Antonio's RAWartists "Performer of the Year," Ansel has also performed at the Boston Comedy Festival and is the youngest winner of the "Funniest in South Texas" Comedy Competition.

    Stand-up comedian Jay Lafarr hosts a line-up of the region's fastest rising comedians.

  • Larry Reeb

    Reeb is a strong, distinct, classic character, with sarcastic attitude and a sardonic wit. He conveys his concepts with rapid fire one liners. Best known as Uncle Lar', Larry Reeb is the wise-cracking black sheep. Like any concerned relative Uncle Lar' wants to help. So in his own twisted way he does. He gives you "tips". Uncle Lar' offers tips on everything from marriage to lotteries to children. Always topping them off with, "That's a tip from your Uncle Lar'."

  • The Oxymorons

    Much like TV's Whose Line is it Anyway, The Oxymorons perform interactive, improv comedy with suggestions from the audience. With hilarious bursts of spontaneous energy, no two Oxymorons shows are the same.  

  • Willie Barcena

    A man with experience, Willie Barcena has flourished in his 20-year gig as a comedian. Appearing in time for RCC's 20'th anniversary celebration weekend, Barcena has gone from blue-collar employee to repeated star on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He has written and performed his own show, "Cry like a Man", a stand-up piece about the "struggle of a blue-collar comic in today’s society," performed for troops in Afghanistan at the invitation of Jay Leno and made multiple TV appearances.
